The Certified ESG Professional is a certification designed for professionals seeking to validate their comprehensive knowledge of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, based on ISO 14001, ISO 26000, and ISO 37000. This exam covers key topics from ISO 14001, ISO 26000, and ISO 37000, including environmental management, social responsibility, corporate governance, organizational accountability, risk management, and ethical practices. It validates your comprehensive knowledge of how to implement and manage ESG principles within the organizational context, in accordance with internationally recognized standards and best practices. This exam consists of 120 multiple-choice questions. The passing score is 70%. Candidates will have 120 minutes to complete the exam. The exam is available in English and Portuguese.

Are there any prerequisites to take the certification exams?
There are no prerequisites to take the exams. However, we recommend that candidates have at least six months of relevant work experience in the area covered by the certification.

What does the exam voucher include?
The exam voucher includes access to a self-paced online study guide, a practice test with questions matching the type and difficulty level of the actual exam, and two retakes in case you do not pass on your first attempt.

After purchasing an exam voucher, candidates will have 180 days to take the exam.

What type of identification is required during the exam?
A valid, government-issued photo ID with a signature.

What is the exam retake policy?
If a candidate does not achieve a passing score on the first attempt, there is no waiting period between the first and the second attempt. If a candidate does not achieve a passing score on the second attempt, the candidate must wait at least 7 days before retaking the exam for a third time. A candidate may not take a given exam any more than three times per year (12 months).
